Caroline Smith , a Moon ruled Cancerian, born on a Monday, has used the imagery of Goddesses in her paintings for twenty years, with recurring themes of Eve, Lilith, Persephone, Sophia. Her work is in collections throughout the world. Her paintings have been reproduced by publishers for the jackets of books on psychology, mythology and the Goddesses. Her deep knowledge of symbolism and the occult has been a constant inspiration for her unique paintings.

She conceived and illustrated her own Elemental Tarot in 1988 which has now become a highly regarded modern classic of tarot. Based on a unique system using the four elements instead of the traditional suits this fully illustrated tarot broke new ground in imagery and interpretation. In 1998 she created the Moon Oracle a system of divination based on the lunar mansions and the lunar phases. Caroline's knowledge of symbolism and brilliant feeling for colour and imagery add powerfully to the beauty of the cards. Caroline exhibits her paintings regularly in galleries in Europe and America."
